Yo. This is Colin Gallant, a they who makes words good. I've been a journalist since 2013 and have done public speaking for most of my life. I made this site to promote my skills for filmmaker Q&As because I love the shits and want to do more. I'm available for festivals in exchange for a pass and for one-offs if you can supply Two Drink Tickets and Some Popcorn — hence the name — or a few bucks. If you have grant money for a moderator, that's even better. But I'm mostly here because I love movies and talking to people who make them, so I'm a pretty cheap date. I'm based in Edmonton but would travel if we can find a path to that. I'm also pretty good at this, if not at using Google Sites:
That;s what we in the biz call a double-endorsement, baby! (Screenshot riddled with misgendering, but what can ya do?)
Here's some stuff I've done:
09/26: Queens for a Day (world premiere), directed by Chris Carter of The X-Files and written by his wife Dori, for Edmonton International Film Festival
07/26: Fucktoys by Annapurna Siriram, presented by Rainbow Visions Film Festival
12/25: Clairtone by Ron Mann (see screenshot above!)
12/23: Archangel (restored) by Guy Maddin
01/23: Skinamarink (hometown premirere) by Kyle Edward Ball, who has since booked the first Alberta production of an A24 film
There's more, but those are kinda the biggies. I talk at tech, music, and book events, too.

Oh, and btw, if you work with me, I would love for you to include me on the webpage for your event and to shout out my involvement on Instagram. You can find me there @2drinktickets_and_some_popcorn. If you're curious about my journalism, go here. Last thing: I've met John Waters on multiple occasions and he roasted me so hard I could barely breathe.
