These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Twistory ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Twistory mobile application (the "App"), including all content, features, and services offered through the App.
By downloading, installing, or using Twistory, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, install, or use the App.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain your parent's or legal guardian's permission before using the App, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Twistory offers a unique puzzle-solving experience with various categories of challenges:
Free Content: The "Everyday Situations" category is available to all users at no cost.
Premium Categories: Additional categories such as "Supernatural Mystery," "Crime Stories," "Logic Puzzles," and "Historical Events" are available for purchase either individually or through subscription plans.
Subscription Options: Monthly and yearly subscription plans that provide access to all premium content.
In-App Purchases: One-time purchases to unlock specific premium categories permanently.
Our App is designed to provide an entertaining and challenging experience for users of various ages and skill levels. Each puzzle presents a scenario that requires careful thinking and creative problem-solving to reach the solution.
These Terms outline important information regarding your use of the App, including account registration, payment terms, intellectual property rights, limitations of liability, and our refund policy. Please read them carefully as they affect your legal rights and obligations.
By using Twistory, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Twistory application ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), including any future modifications, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific features, content, or services available through the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Twistory.
Your use of the App constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms. Each time you access or use the App, you reaffirm your acceptance of the then-current Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
You represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract (or at least 13 years of age) and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of your country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction but at least 13 years old, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with your parent or legal guardian, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf and take responsibility for your compliance.
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue your use of the App.
Certain features, content, or services available through the App may be subject to additional terms and conditions. Such additional terms will be disclosed to you in connection with the applicable features, content, or services and are incorporated by reference into these Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any additional terms, the additional terms shall prevail with respect to the specific feature, content, or service.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the App. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Refers to the Twistory mobile application, including all its content, features, functions, and services, available for download on iOS, Android, and other compatible platforms.
Refers to a registered user profile created within the App that allows access to the App's features and services, tracks progress, and manages purchases.
Refers to all puzzles, scenarios, stories, text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, information, and other materials available through the App.
Refers to puzzles and features available to all users without payment, specifically the "Everyday Situations" category.
Refers to puzzles and features that require payment to access, including but not limited to the "Supernatural Mystery," "Crime Stories," "Logic Puzzles," and "Historical Events" categories.
Refers to a recurring payment plan (monthly or yearly) that provides access to all Premium Content for the duration of the active subscription period.
Refers to a one-time payment that permanently unlocks a specific Premium Content category.
Refers to any individual who downloads, accesses, or uses the App, whether registered or unregistered.
Refers to the company that owns and operates the Twistory App, including its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates.
Refers to clues or assistance provided within the App to help users solve puzzles.
Refers to any transaction conducted within the App that involves payment, including Subscriptions and Individual Purchases.
Refers to the third-party digital distribution service (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store) through which the App is made available for download and through which payments are processed.
Refers to these Terms and Conditions, including any modifications or amendments.
Refers to the Twistory Privacy Policy that governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information through the App.
Refers to all patent rights, copyright rights, mask work rights, moral rights, rights of publicity, trademark, trade dress and service mark rights, goodwill, trade secret rights, and other intellectual property rights that may exist now or come into existence in the future, under the laws of any state, country, territory, or other jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the app. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through app notifications or email. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
While formal account creation isn't required, your game progress and settings are saved locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and managing your in-app purchases. It is also your responsibility to ensure proper backup of your game data when necessary and to keep your device settings up to date for optimal performance.
Users are expected to play the game for personal entertainment and use premium features as intended. We encourage users to share feedback through appropriate channels while respecting intellectual property rights. Users must not attempt to hack or modify the game, share or distribute premium content, use the app for illegal purposes, or interfere with other users' experience.
All aspects of Twistory, including its content, puzzles, artwork, and text, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users are not permitted to copy or redistribute game content, modify or create derivative works, reverse engineer the application, or remove copyright notices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Twistory.
Our application may include links to third-party services or content. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party content or the security of external websites. We are not responsible for changes to third-party services or their privacy practices. Users access such content at their own risk.
The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, specific game outcomes, or perpetual content availability. We are not liable for data loss, device compatibility issues, purchase processing errors, or any indirect or consequential damages that may occur.
Users agree to protect and defend Twistory and its team against any claims arising from violation of these terms, misuse of the app, unauthorized modifications, or breach of applicable laws. This includes covering any associated legal fees and expenses.
We maintain the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service in cases of terms violation, fraudulent activity, harmful behavior, or technical necessity. Upon termination, users will lose access to premium features and saved progress may be deleted.
Twistory offers the following purchase options:
- Individual Category Purchases: One-time purchases that permanently unlock specific puzzle categories.
- Subscription Plans: Monthly or yearly subscriptions that provide access to all premium content for the duration of the subscription.
All payments are processed through Apple App Store (for iOS/macOS users) or Google Play Store (for Android users) using your account with these platforms. By making a purchase, you agree to the respective platform's terms of service regarding in-app purchases.
ALL PURCHASES MADE THROUGH TWISTORY ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
a) Once a transaction is completed, it cannot be canceled, and no refunds will be provided by the developer.
b) All purchases, including individual category unlocks and subscription payments, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
c) There are no exceptions to this policy, including but not limited to:
- Accidental purchases
- Dissatisfaction with the content
- Technical issues that may be resolved through updates
- Changes in pricing after your purchase
d) For subscription plans:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- No partial refunds will be provided for unused subscription periods.
- You will continue to have access to premium content until the end of your paid subscription period.
If you reinstall the app or install it on a new device, you can restore your previous purchases by using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app. This will verify your purchase history with Apple App Store or Google Play Store and restore access to any content you have previously purchased.
We reserve the right to change the pricing of individual categories or subscription plans at any time. Any price changes will not affect purchases already made.
If you experience technical issues with your purchase, please contact us at twistorypuzzles@gmail.com. While we cannot provide refunds, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical problems related to purchases.
This refund policy is supplementary to the refund policies of Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In the rare event that these platforms mandate a refund under their own policies, such refunds will be processed according to their terms.
All in-app purchases are final, and prices are subject to change without notice. Premium content may be added or modified over time. Previously purchased content can be restored on compatible devices. Refunds are handled through your device's app store platform according to their established policies.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction. Users agree to submit to such jurisdiction for the resolution of any claims.
