Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy documents how TwinVeil ("we", "our", "the App") collects, stores, and uses data. TwinVeil is designed as a premium, offline-first 2D puzzle game built using Flutter and the Flame Engine.
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1 Local Storage First (No Personal Data Collected)
Personal Information: TwinVeil does not collect, solicit, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or age.
Gameplay Data: All gameplay metrics (including levels completed, total moves, undos used, daily challenge streaks, high scores, custom level files designed in the Level Editor, and unlocked cosmetic skins/particle trails) are stored exclusively on your local device using secure local databases and SharedPreferences.
1.2 Device Permissions
No Intrusive Permissions: TwinVeil does not require or request access to your device's camera, microphone, contact books, photos library, location tracking (GPS), or call logs.
Haptic Feedback: The App may request vibration/haptic controls to simulate soft physical feedback when characters slide or hit walls, which is processed locally by your operating system.
2. Third-Party Services and Analytics
2.1 No Third-Party Trackers
We do not use third-party marketing services, analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics), or advertiser trackers. Your puzzle-solving habits remain completely private to you.
There are no automated advertisement banners or tracking pixels embedded within the game.
2.2 Level Sharing Mechanics
Custom levels designed in the Level Editor are shared using Share Codes (offline base64-encoded strings). Since level data is compressed directly into text and copied to your clipboard, no servers are contacted when you generate or import a shared level code.
3. Children's Privacy
TwinVeil is a family-friendly educational puzzle game designed for players of all ages.
We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards.
Because the App does not collect any personal data, track coordinates, or transmit data over the internet, parents can rest assured that their children's play sessions are secure and completely private.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Since all data resides locally on your device, any updates will only apply to local play conditions.
