Twin Thrift Vintage is a women-owned vintage shop located in Ellicott City, founded by twin sisters Jordan Virden Menefee and Ali Virden Mitchell.
What started as a shared love for thrifting and design became a small online shop in 2020 and grew into a brick-and-mortar storefront in July 2024 at the Shops at Westwood.
Today, Twin Thrift Vintage is known for its thoughtfully curated home decor, vintage glassware, and a community-first approach to retail.
A vintage shop built by twins
Jordan and Ali bring different professional backgrounds, dentistry and tech marketing, but share the same passion for vintage, sustainability, and creating spaces that feel warm and lived-in.
Together, they hand-select every piece in the shop with a simple goal: to make vintage feel approachable, joyful, and easy to love.
Twin Thrift Vintage isn’t about perfect rooms or precious pieces. It’s about finding something that makes your home feel more like you.
Ali Virden Mitchell
Ali is a product marketer and advisor with experience working across tech, retail, and creative brands.
She brings storytelling, strategy, and a strong sense of aesthetics to Twin Thrift Vintage — shaping everything from curation to events and customer experience.
Ali loves helping vintage feel approachable and fun, and outside the shop she’s usually playing banjo, painting, tending to plants, or planning the next community collaboration.
Jordan Virden Menefee
Jordan is a practicing dentist and longtime vintage lover with a sharp eye for detail and quality. Outside the shop, she’s known for her educational dental content (@smallteethbigworld), brand partnerships, and thoughtful approach to community building.
At Twin Thrift Vintage, Jordan brings intention, care, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship to every piece on the floor. When she’s not thrifting, you’ll find her hiking, sewing, or dreaming up the next shop refresh.
