Youth Culture Day at the Magic Valley Folk Festival

Happy Summer Co-Opers! Join us for one of the highlights of our local Magic Valley Folk Festival — Youth Culture Day! This event is free everyone!

Small groups rotate to participate in workshops presented by international guests. They see dances and costumes, hear different languages, learn about the different countries and cultures and ask LOTS of questions. Each child in attendance is given a “passport” with a page for each country they visit throughout the day. At the end of each presentation there is time for the dancers to sign the children’s passports. This is a day that you and your children will never forget!

Wednesday, July 25- We'll all meet up at City Park in Twin starting at 8:30am. At 8:45am, we'll leave and caravan over together to the Burley High School, King Fine Arts Center. This is about a 45-50 minute drive. We encourage ride sharing whenever possible!

Check-in for the event starts at 9:30 a.m. and workshops start promptly at 10:00 a.m. There will be a short break for lunch at 12:00 p.m. – bring your own for a picnic outside the high school, or join the Lunch in the Park at Storybook Park. Workshops start again at 1:00 and end at 3:00 p.m.
