Head of Video
Birmingham &/Or London (Remote working available)
This is a leadership role for an expert in film & Video blended with team management skills. Own the Video department at the UK’s most thriving, and culturally engaged fitness & sports brand.
You will take the video capability, quality & the team into disruptive and innovative places. Continuing this brand's already recognised and respected standing.
You must be able to travel to the office on occasions. Working on-site at least 2-3 times per week, but flexible working is on offer for the right person. This is a progressive workplace.
Your approach is to combine commercial and artistic moving image projects. They have purpose and cultural reach. Joining a business with real ambition. A customer 1st vision, true inclusivity at work and a decade of high sales and growth.
Collaborating with the leadership team and influence and impact the brand strategy across regions
Define the video teams wider brand vision
Challenging the standard industry norms of video content
Managing all the members of the team through usual and modern methods and tools
Develop ideas from scratch through to fully produced and owned projects. From a small social moment through to beautifully shot, empowering brand film.
Work with suppliers, networks, and people internally and, if relevant externally
Authority and remit to own and see through your changes
No experience working in-house/brand side is required, but a passion and genuine interest in sports, fashion, sustainability, and culture would be highly desirable.
