Alongside learning repertoire for our forthcoming concerts and tour this term, we are delighted to be working with Young Sinfonia (YS) and Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS) tutors this term for a special project to perform Shostakovich's 5th symphony at the Glasshouse. This is a special project which requires the orchestras coming together; this means a slight departure from the usual rehearsal schedule. Please make every effort to reserve these dates, especially the extra Saturdays. Our usual schedule has been adapted to allow. We will also be running a short course for any interested student conductors. Some elements are still TBC, and a detailed plan will be sent out once finalised.
