Effective date: 3 October 2026
TVS Player ("the app") is a media player. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use it.
In short: the app does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal data.
The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We do not receive any information about you or about what you watch or listen to.
Your playlists (their name and address), the channels read from them, your favorites and your settings are stored only on your device. They are deleted when you remove them in the app or uninstall the app. If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include them in your own private device backup.
To work, the app connects directly from your device to:
the playlist addresses and stream servers that you add, to load and play them;
Radio Browser (radio-browser.info), to load the list of free radio stations, and the radio stations' own servers to play them;
image servers, to show channel and station logos;
Google Cast (Chromecast), only if you choose to cast, through Google Play services.
As with any internet connection, these servers can see your device's IP address. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies, for example the Google Privacy Policy for Google Cast.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
