Any data from your Smart TV usage
The App requests access to your local network solely to:
Discover compatible Smart TVs
Connect and communicate with devices on the same Wi-Fi network
All communication happens locally between your iPhone and your TV. No data is transmitted to external servers.
To enable functionality, the App may store locally on your device:
TV IP addresses
Connection preferences
Paired device details
This data:
Never leaves your device
Is not shared with any third party
SmartRemote uses Google AdMob to display ads in the free version.
If you grant App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission:
Personalized ads may be shown
If you decline:
Only non-personalized ads are shown
AdMob may collect anonymized data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
The App offers a one-time purchase to remove ads.
No payment information is stored by the App
Transactions are handled securely by Apple
Since no personal data is collected and all communication remains local, your data exposure is minimized.
The App may use:
Google AdMob (for ads)
Apple In-App Purchase system
These services operate under their own privacy policies.
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

The App may not work with all devices or configurations

We do not guarantee:
Compatibility with all Smart TVs
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Availability at all times
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The developer is not liable for damages resulting from use of the App
This includes device issues, connection failures, or loss of functionality
You agree not to:
Use the App for unlawful purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
Interfere with network communication
The free version includes advertisements.
You may remove ads via a one-time in-app purchase.
Purchases are handled by Apple
All sales are final unless required by law
Restoring purchases is supported via Apple ID
All rights related to the App, including design and functionality, are owned by the developer.
You may not copy, distribute, or reuse any part without permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
