One of the great joys of playing bluegrass music is the promise of a local jam. And, speaking from experience, few things are more thrilling than taking a solo and absolutely nailing it. How do you get there, you ask? Practice, practice, practice.
This is why we have put this section of song resources together. We started with a 1994 list from Fiddler magazine of the top "jam tunes" as voted by the readers. To this list, we are adding links to backing tracks (with roadmaps) and an example of the tune being played. In essence, this library is a one stop shop for you to build a usable practice routine. To me, this resource has been invaluable. We hope you find it useful as well.
Enjoy & happy picking.
