Fredsland has declared independense from Denmark.

On the 4th of August 2025, Fredsland unilaterally declared independense from the Kingdom of Denmark, calling itself the "Democratic Republic of Fredsland".

On the 4th of August 2025, Fredsland officially declared independense from Denmark, and established itself as the "Democratic Republic of Fredsland", during the establishment the People's Republic of Limbolia merged into the Democratic Republic of Fredsland. The ruling party of Fredsland will continue being the Buddhist Socialist Party, this will keep the official ideology of Fredsland as Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, and Fredsland will continue being socialist, but now as an independent country this will mean that Fredsland can do more with this.

Fredsland has already reached out to nations that it has loose ties with, mainly mutual recognition treaties, but also countries in which Limbolia has had loose relations with, for example Samizdat in which Limbolia had participated in many of the events in which Samizdat has been hosting.

The future of Fredsland is filled with hope, and will hopefully continue proceeding in developing itself the way it was before independense. As Fredsland is now located in Evighedsby, it now has many more opportunities when it comes to development.
