2. วัตถุประสงค์

2.1 เพื่อประชุมหารือความร่วมมือในการพัฒนากำลังคนอาชีวศึกษาเพื่อตอบสนองต่อความต้องการแรงงานในภูมิภาคแม่โขง - ล้านช้าง และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านการจัดการอาชีวศึกษาระหว่างประเทศสมาชิก

2.2 เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะของครูและบุคลากรอาชีวศึกษาของประเทศสมาชิกแม่โขง - ล้านช้างให้ความสามารถและนำไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ใน 3 สาขาวิชา ได้แก่ สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ สาขาวิชาระบบการขนส่งและโลจิสติกส์ และสาขาวิชาการท่องเที่ยว

2.3 เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธไมตรีระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกแมโขง - ล้านช้าง ให้แน่นแฟ้นมากยิ่งขึ้นตอบสนองนโยบายของรัฐบาล ในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีกับต่างประเทศ ทั้งในรูปแบบของการศึกษา สังคมและเศรษฐกิจ
