Sanxview Soft ("we", "our", "us") built TV Cast Screen Mirroring as a paid application. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our screen mirroring service.
By using TV Cast Screen Mirroring, you agree to this privacy policy.
TV Cast - Screen Mirroring is designed with privacy as a priority:
We do not collect any personal data
We do not track your usage
We do not store any information about you
We do not use analytics or tracking tools
We do not require account creation or login
When you use screen mirroring:
All screen content stays on your local WiFi network
No screen data is uploaded to external servers
No content is stored, recorded, or transmitted outside your network
Mirroring occurs directly between your phone and TV/display device
Audio Mirroring Feature
When you enable audio mirroring:
✅ Captures system audio playback (music, games, videos)
✅ Uses official Android AudioPlaybackCapture API
✅ Audio is streamed ONLY to your TV on local WiFi
❌ Does NOT record from your microphone
❌ Does NOT save or store any audio files
❌ Does NOT transmit audio to external servers
You can choose "Video Only" mode if you don't want audio mirroring.
TV Cast - Screen Mirroring requires the following Android permissions:
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION
Purpose: To capture and stream your screen content
Usage: Only active when you start screen mirroring
Control: You can stop anytime from the notification
INTERNET
Purpose: To create local HTTP/WebSocket server for streaming
Usage: Only for local network communication, not internet access
Note: No data is sent to external servers
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
Purpose: To detect WiFi connection status
Usage: To ensure phone and TV are on the same network
WAKE_LOCK
Purpose: To keep screen mirroring active
Usage: Prevents device from sleeping during mirroring
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Purpose: To show foreground service notification
Usage: Displays "Screen Mirroring Active" notification
RECORD_AUDIO
Purpose: To capture system audio playback for audio mirroring feature
Usage: Captures audio from apps, games, and videos (NOT microphone)
What it does:
Streams audio to your TV along with video
Uses AudioPlaybackCapture API (Android 10+)
Does NOT record from microphone
Does NOT save or store audio files
Audio is streamed ONLY to your local TV via WiFi
Control: You can choose "Video Only" mode to skip audio
Privacy: Audio never leaves your local network
All permissions are used solely for screen mirroring functionality and nothing else.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Purpose: Required by Android for WiFi scanning on older devices
Usage: To discover devices on your local network
Note: Only used on Android 10 and below, not on newer versions
Privacy: Location data is never collected or stored
VIBRATE
Purpose: To provide haptic feedback for alarm reminders
Usage: Vibrates device when user-set reminder alarm triggers
Control: Only activates when you set a reminder
Privacy: No data collected, user-initiated only
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Purpose: To trigger reminders at exact time set by user
Usage: Allows app to show alarm notification at scheduled time
Control: You set the date and time for reminders
Privacy: Reminder data stored locally on your device only
Note: Required for Android 12+ devices
REMINDER FEATURE
When you use the reminder feature:
✅ You manually set date and time for reminders
✅ Reminder data is stored locally on your device
✅ Alarm notification appears at scheduled time
✅ Plays ringtone and vibrates to alert you
❌ Does NOT send reminders to external servers
❌ Does NOT share reminder data with anyone
❌ Does NOT run in background without your permission
You can cancel any reminder anytime from the app.
TV Cast - Screen Mirroring does NOT use any third-party services that collect data, including:
❌ No analytics services
❌ No advertising networks
❌ No crash reporting tools
❌ No social media integrations
The app uses:
✅ Google Play Services (for app updates only)
✅ ZXing library (for QR code scanning - runs locally)
✅ Lottie animations (runs locally)
None of these collect or transmit your data.

Local Storage Only
The app stores minimal data locally on your device:

Technical Limitations
Some streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video) use DRM protection that prevents screen mirroring. This is a platform restriction, not a limitation of our app.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
