TV Cast & Screen Mirroring helps users discover compatible devices on the same WiFi network, cast selected photos, videos and music, and request Android screen capture permission only when the user chooses the screen mirror feature.
Information we handle
The app may access media files that you select from your device, local network information needed to discover compatible receivers, and screen capture permission only after your explicit approval from the Android system dialog. Selected media is served locally from your phone while casting. We do not upload your selected media or screen content to our own servers.
Ads and third-party services
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and may use remote ad configuration to choose supported ad placements. Advertising partners may collect device identifiers, approximate location, app activity, diagnostics and ad interaction data according to their own policies. Ads are used to support the free version of the app.
Remote configuration
The app may download a remote JSON configuration file to control ad priorities and placements. This configuration does not require you to create an account and is used only to manage app behavior such as ad format selection.
Permissions
Internet access is used for ads, remote configuration and local media casting. Network and WiFi permissions are used to discover receivers on the same network. Media permissions are used only when you select photos, videos or audio to cast. Screen capture permission is requested only when you start screen mirroring. Notification permission may be requested where Android requires it for foreground or media-related behavior.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by advertising SDKs and Google Play services as required to provide ads, security, diagnostics and app functionality.
Children
This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. Do not use the app to cast content you do not have the right to access or share.
Security
Selected media may be temporarily served through a local HTTP server on your WiFi network while casting. Use the app only on trusted networks.
Your choices
You can deny media, notification or screen capture permissions. Some features may not work without the required permission. You can reset advertising ID or manage ad personalization in your device settings.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy when app features, SDKs or legal requirements change. The latest policy should be available from the app listing or inside the app.
