Google Chrome is a marvel of modern web browser technology. You can configure it to anticipate your search requests, correct your spelling, record your search history, remember passwords and much more. Google Chrome also keeps track of your downloaded files, and it can display a list of your recent downloads. This can be a lifesaver when you need to retrieve that recently downloaded PDF, PowerPoint presentation or any other file and you just can't find it. With a few simple commands, you can display a list of your recent Google Chrome downloads.

Lastly, your downloads are stored in a folder on your computer that is typically named Downloads. Use your computer's file directory to examine the files in this folder as another way of viewing recent download activity.

I have the same problem. I downloaded 3 recordings to my IPad and watched them. Later I went to return them and they were gone from my Ipad. Went on my Comcast box and the programs still show up. When I try to delete them I get the same message that the recordings are on an unnamed device and must be returned before I can delete them. I have tried everything I can think of to remove the recordings. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

i recorded a 30 minute show to test. downloaded it to my iphone. went to a different smart device and to settings and manage devices. the recording showed downloaded. I selected 'return' to force return. recording was then available to the X1 and my second device to verify it played on each successfully. do you have another device to try the same procedure?

Hi, was there ever any resolution to this problem? I downloaded a saved show to my tablet but it says it is on an "unnamed device". It's not on the tablet I downloaded to and I can no longer access it on my main box because it says it is on a mobile device. Called Comcast tonight and spent 25 minutes getting nowhere. Thank you

I have Monterey. I can no longer see my downloads folder, in Finder or when in applications looking for a downloaded file to open. For example, I downloaded a .CSV file from my bank, and when I try to open it in Excel, there is no sign of a downloads folder. This worked fine until recently and I'm not aware of doing anything to make a change.

The command opens that SQLite file. Then it searches for the moz_places table, selects only the url column, and shows the url which contains FileName. The percentage signs are wildcards. Change FileName with the file URL you want to know. The FileName sometimes matches with the tittle column.

No, Firefox doesn't have a setting for this. You can "Copy Download Link" (like you already noticed) or "Go To Download Page", but you cannot see the URLs at a glance. You can see the domain (like example.com) next the size and the date for the downloads, but not the full link.

Once you start watching a download, you have 48 hours to finish watching it before it expires. Unwatched downloads expire after 30 days. Once expired, you can renew or delete the download.

If my memory serves me right, this window also showed the download speeds as well (this was in previous versions of Safari when it used to be a separate window). But I can not figure out how to bring up the downloads speeds.

I believe that the downloads popover-window has a fixed width, and if there room for the download speed it will show it, but if there isn't enough room it won't show it. In most cases though, it will show the speed if you close the window and open it again.

1) This has bothered me for a long time. I have Auto-Protection on, but when I download any file I don't see that it was scanned. There is no entry in the Scan Recent or Full History. If I manually right-click on it and scan it, it does show in the History. So, It appears that it is not scanning any downloads automatically?

And I see you ran a Full Scan, and it shows in the History. And it does for me also.. But I am talking about an individual file downloaded. It does not show up in the History at all. If I manually scan it, then it shows in the History. Why does it not show when it is downloaded??

The bottom line for me is, that I have always wondered why individual downloads do not show up in the History as being scanned? Anren't they supposed to?? So, I often right-click them and manually scan them. I know this seems crazy, but since I don't see any history of them being scanned by norton, I just need to start assuming they are scanned when downloaded, but Norton doesn't show the user any history of this event?

So, I do have a Fresh install of Norton. I did set Discovery Insight to 'Always'. And when I download something, it does not show that it was scanned in the Recent History. But if I manually right-click scan it, it does show the scan in the Recent History. When I run it, I do see that it download insight stuff and it has Norton Community Watch Feedback also in the Recent History.

really like your podcasts you should check the shows Long Way Round, Long Way Down and finally Long Way Up and do a podcast with Ewan Mcgregor and Charley Boorman I think it would be a great addition!

That is to say that no solution expected to work is in fact working here: this doesn't seem to be a general problem of the type "avoid a program taking over the file manager when opening a folder in that program from context menu" or "'Show in folder' in Firefox downloads does not use my default file manager", but a more Thunar-specific problem of the form "Thunar doesn't respect the settings specifying the default file manager for Firefox".

All download rules and expiry dates are set with the studios, and we can't make shows available for longer than their current agreed times. So if you download any episodes from Game of Thrones S1-7, you'll have 9 days left to view.

There is literally hundreds of downloads in the download manager, and its impossible to tell whether I have the license for it or not! Do I relly have to correlate the webpage of feature of my version of Cubase with the content to figure it out!? What a stupid idea.

The Process Explorer display consists of two sub-windows. The topwindow always shows a list of the currently active processes, includingthe names of their owning accounts, whereas the information displayed inthe bottom window depends on the mode that Process Explorer is in: ifit is in handle mode you'll see the handles that the process selected inthe top window has opened; if Process Explorer is in DLL mode you'llsee the DLLs and memory-mapped files that the process has loaded.Process Explorer also has a powerful search capability that willquickly show you which processes have particular handles opened or DLLsloaded.

Downloading files on your Android device is straightforward, but locating them can be a hassle. Before you know it, photos, videos, screenshots, and other files clutter your phone. You need to know where those downloads went so that you can delete unnecessary documents that are taking up space on your phone.

This guide shows you how to locate an important file that disappeared and how to organize your Downloads folder. Here's how to find downloads on your device, whether you use one of the best Google Pixel phones or another Android smartphone.

Each smartphone manufacturer may offer a slightly different built-in Android app for file management, but your experience should be similar. If you use a Samsung phone or tablet, refer to our tutorial, which shows how to find downloads on your Samsung Galaxy phone.

You may want to see the location of the Download folder for various reasons from time to time. Tap the three-dot menu next to one of your downloaded files and go to File info. The /storage/emulated/0/Download path is the default for many modern Android devices. Some third-party web browsers might save files to a different folder, but this should be the location for most downloads.

Google's Files app is a great option if you prefer simplicity in a file manager. It has a clean UI and easy-to-use features. The app neatly organizes your documents by file types like downloads, images, videos, and audio. It also offers to clear junk files.

Information about the file size and type of file is very useful for the user no matter how big or small it is. The units should be appropriately followed, like, till 1MB, it can be shown in KBs, till 1GB, it can be shown in MBs etc. Rounding File size is not a disadvantage. It should NOT be shown as part of link text. 0852c4b9a8
