Degree in Mathematics (summa cum laude) at the University of Perugia in 1979, Assistant Professor of Mathematical Analysis in 1983 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Palermo and in 2003 associate professor at the Faculty of Sciences.

He wrote 36 articles published in national and international mathematics journals collaborating with several mathematicians. His research interests concern with existence results for the Burkill-Cesari integral, ordinary inequalities and inclusions for appropriate classes of multi-functions. His most recent research activity concerns the theory of critical points and its application to differential equations. Combining variational methods with truncation techniques, he studied the existence of solutions for several type of differential problems with different boundary conditions.

During the years of his career, he has carried out an intense didactic activity both for the courses in Engineering Degree and some advanced courses in Degree in Mathematics.
