My History

I am from Orosi, CA, a small town north of Visalia. I graduated a semester early from Redwood High School and immediately began classes at College of Sequoias (COS) in Visalia.

During my time at COS, I have interned with NASA and CalTech LIGO. I have taken all the math courses COS has to offer. I graduated with 5 Associates degrees: Physics, Math and Science, Mathematics, Natural Science,  and Teaching Preparation. I was President of Society of Hispanic Engineer bringing in $500 for an outreach event for the community. I tutored Calculus and Chemistry while working at the Student Affairs office as a Secretary. I got the GIANT Community Service Award for the Class of 2016. In 2017, I transferred to University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where I continued my education. During my time, I worked in a lab ran by Harvard alumni and worked on a project with IBM. I graduated Class of 2019, and I soon moved back to the Central Valley. Here I have grown as a Higher Education Professional, working with College of Sequoias, UC Merced, and ProYouth. I have managed over 300 students, ensuring they are on track to graduate and help apply for college.
