When you use Tutoa, you may provide us with:

- Exercise images you capture or upload for scanning

- Text entered in follow-up conversations

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information, including:

- Device information (device model, operating system version)

- App usage data (features used, scan frequency)

- Crash and error reports via Sentry

- Subscription and purchase data via RevenueCat

- Anonymous user identifiers for service functionality

1.3 Camera and Photos

Tutoa requires access to your device's camera and photo library to scan exercises. Images you capture are transmitted to our servers for processing and are not stored permanently. We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit permission.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

- Process and analyze exercise images to provide step-by-step solutions

- Generate follow-up responses and explanations

- Improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models

- Manage subscriptions and process payments via RevenueCat

- Monitor and fix technical issues via Sentry error tracking

- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience

3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

- RevenueCat, Inc. — manages in-app purchases and subscriptions

- Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting

- AI service providers — process exercise content to generate solutions

3.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. DATA RETENTION

- Exercise images are processed in real-time and deleted from our servers immediately after processing is complete.

- Solution history is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time from the History screen.

- Subscription data is managed by RevenueCat and retained according to their retention policies.

- Error logs in Sentry are retained for up to 90 days.

- Anonymous usage analytics may be retained for up to 24 months.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Tutoa is designed for educational purposes and may be used by students of all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is necessary for the App's educational functionality.
