Jumbo Chess is a community outreach program, hosted weekly in the Boston Chinese Neighborhood Center, where Tufts medical students teach Josiah Quincy elementary and middle school students about chess. Chess is a challenging, rewarding and lifelong game that improves deep thinking, planning, and logical skills. Through the medium of chess, Jumbo Chess hopes to strengthen the bond between the Tufts and Chinatown communities.
