Owner Cammie Barney grew up in Wyoming, where she developed a deep passion for dance at an early age, followed by years of training and performance experience. At just 21 years old, Cammie took the leap and launched Turning Pointe Dance Arts. Starting a business at such a young age is no small feat, but Cammie’s vision and determination set her on a path to success. She wanted to create more than just a dance studio—she envisioned a welcoming environment where students could grow both as dancers and as individuals.

Despite the challenges that come with starting a business, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cammie’s resilience and adaptability have kept Turning Pointe Dance Arts thriving. Through virtual classes, safety-conscious in-person sessions, and a strong sense of community, the studio has continued to grow and inspire dancers in Blair and beyond.
