This is a seldom offered and RARE token for the Turks & Caicos Islands . John N. Reynolds was the owner of a salt raking and exporting business from about 1865 to 1883. I added a photo of pages 179 & 180 from Bob Lyall's "The Tokens, Checks, Metallic Tickets, Passes and Tallies of the British Caribbean & Bermuda" which includes much more information.

In the DNW auction, 14 February 2002, of World Tokens & Medals a 12½¢ and 6¼¢ in about the same condition each fetched £620 or about $800 at today's rate of exchange. Much more at the exchange rate during 2002.
