Hot Air BALLOON FLIGHT IN CAPPADOCIA Turs - Turkey

Public - Private Cappacocia Tours

Hot Air Balloon Tours take place between 04:30 and 09:00 in the morning at dawn. You will be picked up from your hotel at the hour decided one day before and transferred to the balloon take-off location in the morning. You’ll be offered breakfast, and as you enjoy your coffee or tea and delicious snacks in the open air, you will have the chance to watch the flight preparations closely; the process of filling the hot air balloon with air by the pilot and the crew and how the baskets and other apparatus are mounted. Note that the pilots choose the best take-off place according to the direction of the wind. When the flight preparations are completed, and the permission to fly is given by the Civil Aviation Authority, the boarding process starts on hot air balloon baskets for 8-16-20 persons, which are made of light, flexible and durable materials.

In the skies of Cappadocia

Soon enough, the balloons will start moving with the wind and take you on a journey above the fairy-tale world of Cappadocia. As you rise from the heart of Cappadocia, you will witness the magnificent view of the fairy chimneys and rock formations shrinking before your eyes and gliding over the magical fairy chimneys and valleys. Balloons can limb up to 300 meters (1000 feet) above the ground, however, the favorite altitudes of balloon passengers are the lower ones, as this allows them to see the beauty of fairy chimneys closer.

Unforgettable moments

The flight, which lasts for about 1 hour as the sun rises above Cappadocia, ends on a cheerful note with a celebration. As a tradition, every balloon flight is concluded with a celebration upon landing with a bottle of champagne, and a flight certificate is given to each passenger to their name.

At the end of this event, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel
