Daily Kodu tasks

Day 1: Programming Kodu Characters - Kodu visits a Castle!

Create a game using Kodu Game Lab that:

Has a Kodu Character and a Castle object
When the Game begins, Kodu turns to the screen and tell the player "I want to visit a castle"
Kodu then allows the user to direct him towards the Castle object using the arrow keys.
When the Kodu Character touches the castle, he should show an emotion of love

Export this game to your K:/Drive then attach it to edmodo to complete the assignment.

Create a game world with an little Island in the middle. In the middle of your little island you should place a big tree

Create a Kodu Game world with a path around it, using the path tool

the path can be selected together using the Shift key if one node is selected.
You can stop creating the path by clicking the Escape key
You can delete a node by pressing Delete on the keyboard when a node is selected.
The Side Arrow keys change the colour of the path, while the up and Down Arrows change the type of the path (Different roads, and Different walls).

Place a different coloured line of land as the finish line and code
Add two motorcycle characters at the starting line
Change the color of each
Program one cycle to ALWAYS - MOVE - ALONG THE PATH
Program the other to MOVE when directed by the KEYBOARD.
At the end of the track:
1. The Cycle being controlled by the computer ends the game, if it reaches the finish line first.
2. The Cycle being controlled by the keyboard wins the game if it reaches the end first.

Add one or two levels to the racing game you developed in Day 3

You can add a level instead of ending the game. (For instance, instead of using the Game tile Win use the Game tile Next Level.)
You will need to actually create the second level and save it before you can load it at the end of level 1.

Level 2 needs to be more difficult than level 1. You should do 2 or MORE of the following:

Make the computer controlled cycle race faster
Add Obstacles
Reduce Health when the user-controlled character is on a different coloured land or on water.
Raise the height of the nodes on the path so that it is harder to race on.

Create a game that uses space ships and other flying objects to launch attacks at your Kodu trying to reach home (a hut object)

While under attack your Kodu should go around your world collecting coins to earn points before he heads for home.
