Privacy Policy — Turf Cricket Scorer Pro

Turf Cricket Scorer Pro (package com.turfcricket.scorerpro, the "App") is built to be private by default: it works offline, needs no account or login, and we operate no server and collect no personal data ourselves.
In one line: your matches, players and settlement details stay on your device — we never receive them. The only data anyone handles is what Google's own services (Play Billing for the "Turf Pro" purchase, and AdMob for ads on the free plan) process under Google's policies.
1. WHO COLLECTS WHAT
• Matches, players, teams, scores, turf-session costs & settlements you enter — stored only in a local database on your device (no one but you). Used to run the App's scoring and settlement features.
• "Turf Pro" purchase status (owned / not owned) — collected by Google Play Billing, to unlock Pro features and remove ads. Your payment method is handled by Google; we never see it.
• Advertising ID, IP-derived approximate location, device & app information — collected by Google AdMob (free plan only), to show and measure ads. We do not receive this data.
We, the developer, do NOT collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal information, and we run no analytics of our own.
2. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Everything you create — player and team names, ball-by-ball scores, results, and turf-session cost and settlement details — is saved locally and never leaves your device unless you back it up or share it. Uninstalling the App deletes this data.
3. BACKUPS (OPTIONAL, YOU CONTROL IT)
The App offers an optional local backup. If you enable it, the App writes a backup file to a folder you pick using Android's system file picker. We do not upload it anywhere; it stays where you chose. You can disable the feature or delete the file at any time.
4. SHARING (ONLY WHEN YOU TAP SHARE)
Share and export options (scorecard image, PDF, settlement text) hand the content to Android's share sheet so you can send it to an app of your choice. Nothing is shared automatically.
5. PURCHASES — GOOGLE PLAY BILLING
"Turf Pro" is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. Your payment (card, UPI, etc.) is handled entirely by Google — we never see or store payment details. The App only learns whether the purchase is owned. See the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. ADS — GOOGLE ADMOB
Users on the free plan see ads served by Google AdMob; buying Turf Pro removes ads entirely. To deliver and measure ads, Google's AdMob SDK may collect your device's advertising ID, coarse (IP-based) location, and device/app information, per Google's policies. Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), the App shows a consent prompt to choose personalised or non-personalised ads. 7. PERMISSIONS
Internet & network state — used only by Google Play Billing and AdMob. The App's scoring, stats and settlement features work fully offline.
8. YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS
• Remove ads: purchase Turf Pro.
• Ad personalisation: reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in Settings → Google → Ads on your device.
• Your data: delete individual matches or sessions in the App, delete your backup file, or uninstall the App to remove all local data.
• Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or India's DPDP Act), you may have rights over data Google processes; exercise those via the Google links above, and contact us with any questions.
9. SECURITY & RETENTION
Your App data lives on your device and is retained until you delete it or uninstall the App. Purchases are recorded by Google Play, not by us. Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is no server-side store of yours for us to lose.
10. CHILDREN
The App is a general-audience cricket-scoring tool, is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as the App evolves; the "Effective" date above will change to reflect the latest version.
