But the response to the throttle and boost levers themselves is basically correct; it even correctly models some very nitpicky things like how the turbo RPM increases when at high altitude the throttle is slammed shut with the boost open.

At low altitude with the throttle open and the boost fully retarded the regulator will see plenty of backpressure, so has no reason to spin up the turbo. Under these conditions the P-47 basically flies as if it has no manifold pressure governor, since the throttle lever is directly linked to the carburetor throttle. So, here are a few tricks that you can use to enable and disable turbo boost on the fly. I personally run my laptops with turbo boost disabled, using one of these methods, and I flip turbo boost on only if I need additional CPU power (maybe gaming, intense database work, or some other kind of number crunching).

With this setup, turbo boost is disabled. You can confirm by checking the Task Manager "performance" tab. The CPU speed should stay below the CPU's base frequency (probably mid-2 GHz range, depending on the CPU model), no matter what load you throw at it.

...You can set the maximum processor state value to something lower than 99% if you find that simply disabling turbo boost is not effective in achieving your desired power/heat/noise limit. Lower values will further reduce the maximum CPU speed. Moving the power slider to the right will also still remove any limits on the CPU speed.

Set the maximum processor state to 99% on the "Balanced" profile (as described above), but leave it at 100% on the "High Performance" profile. Now, switching between the Balanced and High Performance profiles will disable or enable turbo boost as described in the previous section. However, using the power slider to dynamically enable or disable turbo boost does not work with this method. If you want to use the power slider then you must set "Maximum processor state" to 99%.

As the OP, I also wish to see some form of conversation_id and parent_id parameters, which correspond to the state of the last prompt and the state of the conversation at any point. In the web UI we can recall a conversation session, only adding new prompts to already existing context and even branch of from a previous prompt into a new timeline. This is already achieved with gpt-3.5-turbo in the context of ChatGPT. If we could get that feature through the API for gpt-3.5-turbo, we could avoid resending the previous messages with every prompt.

TL;DR

Task Manager shows invalid values when doing manual OC+Turbo boost. It actually sums up the Turbo boost gain and manual boost gain and displays the frequency that way, while in reality the turbo boosted speed clock won't go over the manually set value in any occasion.
