Tunnel Vision ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Tunnel Vision mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Free Version

The free version of Tunnel Vision is designed to work locally on your device. In this version, your task data and routine data stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. The app may send anonymous usage data, described in "Anonymous Usage Data (Analytics)" below, which you can turn off.

Paid Version

If you choose the paid version or sign in to use cloud features, we may collect and store the following information:

• Email address

• Account identifiers

• Task data

• Routine data

• Sync data across devices

• Device and app usage information

• Crash reports and diagnostic data

We may use Firebase services to provide authentication, cloud synchronization, and crash reporting.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage user accounts

• Sync your tasks and routines across devices

• Enable access from supported devices, including smartwatch features

• Provide account recovery and transactional emails such as password reset and email verification

• Monitor app stability and fix bugs

• Improve app performance and user experience

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Email Communication

We may send transactional emails related to your account, such as:

• Password reset emails

• Email verification emails

• Important account or service notices

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you explicitly agree to receive them.

4. Third-Party Services

Tunnel Vision may use third-party services to operate the app, including:

• Firebase Authentication

• Cloud storage and sync services

• Crash reporting and diagnostics

• Google Play Billing for subscriptions or paid features

These services may process your information according to their own privacy policies.

Anonymous Usage Data (Analytics)

To understand whether Tunnel Vision actually helps and what needs to improve, the app collects anonymous usage data through Google Firebase Analytics.

What is collected: usage events, such as focus sessions started and completed, routines created, and subscription screens viewed; whether you are on the free or premium plan; and an anonymous installation identifier generated by the app. It is not linked to your name, email or account.

What is not collected: anything you write in the app (names of routines, tasks, folders or notes are never part of this data), your device's advertising ID, or your location.

Why we use it: only to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This data is not sold or used for ads.

Who processes it: Google, through Firebase Analytics. The data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

How to turn it off: in your profile, turn off "Share anonymous usage data". From then on, the app stops sending this data.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

• To provide core app functionality

• With service providers that help us operate the app

• When required by law

• To protect our rights, users, or the integrity of the service

7. Your Choices

Depending on the features you use, you may be able to:

• Access or update your account information

• Delete your account

• Delete synced data

• Stop using cloud features and use the app locally instead

8. Children’s Privacy

Tunnel Vision is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
