Community

In 2025, the community garden completed phase 3 of our 3 phase process. Phase 1 was our Community Garden Plots (Gayle's Garden). Phase 2 was our Food Bank Garden (Garden of Generosity). Phase 3 was to plant and grow a community apple orchard (The Giving Trees).

Different Gardens

• Gayle's Garden: 10 raised 4' x 4' beds, 2 raised 4' x 6' beds, and 2 wheelchair accessible raised beds, amenities include a drip irrigation system for each bed

• Garden of Generosity: where the majority of produce donated to the Thurston County Food Bank is grown, amenities include a washing station

• The Giving Trees: orchard was established in 2025, 40 espalier apple trees of different varieties, amenities include drip irrigation system for each tree
