Sue Garner
The Enhanced Learning Cooperative was established as a Parent Cooperative. The Cooperative is limited to thirty students and maintains a one to ten student teacher ratio. The Cooperative is open to families with children in preschool through sixth grade. The Cooperative follows the Tulsa Public Schools calendar, and operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and from 8:30 to 3:00 on Fridays. Before and aftercare is available. The Cooperative provides schedule flexibility for families who travel, or wish to learn face to face on a part-time basis.
The Cooperative is managed by Elizabeth Browne and Sue Garner. Ms. Browne attended St. Louis University and focused her studies on Early Childhood Education. Ms. Browne has been an educator for over ten years and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Cooperative. Sue Garner has worked in Preschool and Kindergarten Classrooms for a dozen plus years, and with Ms. Browne, shares responsibility for managing the Cooperative.
Leslie Southerland, is the Lead Teacher for the Cooperative. Mrs. Southerland has worked as a teacher and administrator for the last fifteen years, and is the state certified lead teacher for students enrolled at the Cooperative.
Monthly Cooperative Fees are $325.00 per student. Aftercare is available for an additional charge Monday through Thursday. All students and faculty are dismissed at 3:00 P.M. on Fridays. Cooperative fees cover the expenses associated with operation of the Cooperative, including, but not limited to: staff salaries, overhead, meals, and field trips.
