Geometry and Physics: Remembering Włodzimierz Tulczyjew

The workshop intends to celebrate the memory of prof. Włodzimierz Marek Tulczyjew by a series of talks given by some of his closest collaborators.

Prof. Tulczyjew was a visionary scientist who dedicated his life to solving one of the most important problems in modern theoretical physics: how to unify general relativity and quantum mechanics. He always sought to challenge the established views and find original ways to understand the fundamental principles of nature. His research led him to revisit the foundations of classical mechanics and the calculus of variations, and to discover new mathematical structures and methods that have profound implications for physics.
