Functional Materials for Optoelectronics

Dr. Tuhin Samanta is working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Division of Materials Science and Engineering at Hanynag University.  His research primarily delves into comprehending fundamental processes in metal halides perovskite and quantum dots, focusing on their applications in optoelectronics and biomedicine. Dr. Samanta is actively developing luminescent metal halides and quantum dots for various purposes, such as light-emitting diodes, X-ray imaging, and photodetectors. Additionally, he explores stimuli-responsive photon upconversion in perovskite-inspired metal halides. For more in-depth information about his research,  please visit the Research page.
