This event will be our twelfth festival! It’s an informal 3-day event held at Catalina State Park on the north side of Tucson. Accommodations will be camping primarily, although there are some hotels relatively close by. The festival operates entirely by donation, however the park requires a small camping fee. Plenty of time to juggle, hike, juggle, eat (potluck food, but we’ve never gone hungry), and juggle some more. If you plan on attending it would help us greatly if you email info@tucsonjuggling.org with an idea of how many people will be here and your estimated arrival and departure dates (from the Catalina State Park campsite). This year we have reserved the site for April 8 (Thursday) to get a jump on setup. If anyone would like to come on this day and help, feel free.

We would like to make an effort to reduce disposable plastic water bottle waste by providing multiple refillable 5 gallon water dispensers. We will keep the water dispensers filled throughout the weekend with clean potable water for drinking and cooking. No need to bring prepackaged bottled water, just bring your reusable water bottles, jugs, and canteens.

We have a raffle every year where the prizes are all donated by various businesses and people. If you have anything you think would be a good raffle prize, bring it along. We will be putting some equipment in this year from our personal collection.

We will be doing stenciling again this year, so bring something to decorate (shirt, bag, etc).

POST COVID-19: While we can't predict what the situation will be at the time of our next festival, it is likely we will want to use some of the basics to keep everyone safe. If you are sick or have been around someone who has been sick, please consider not attending the festival. Masks may be appropriate but we can not predict what things will be like. We will provide soapy water to clean your clubs and anything else you might want to clean. Depending on hand sanitizer supplies, we will make an attempt to have some around as it seems like a good idea for any activity where we are throwing things from one person to another.

Schedule

Thursday: After noon we will be arriving to setup and will camp out. If you would like to come help, feel free to arrive on this day.

Friday: Arrive and set up your camp. Food to be shared will be set out on the picnic tables under the ramada and we will setup a fire.

Saturday: Wake up and juggle! At the end of the day we will hold a raffle with prizes, one of which will possibly be a quantity of marbles.

Sunday: Slowly pack up while getting side-tracked to juggle with people you didn't juggle with earlier. We need to be cleared out at 2:00pm.

We are in the Fly Catcher group camp area of Catalina State Park. Look for the white juggling clubs with orange arrows. We still have a few spare tents for those who are traveling light. Please contact us if you are counting on one being available. Fire danger is forecast to be high this time of year. We will supply firewood and kindling if the Park is allowing campfires at the time we are present.

We send out mail about a month before our festival, and if we know of any other juggling festivals in Arizona.

Thanks to those who have donated their time, efforts and prizes for the raffle. Special thanks goes to the following:
