Black History in St. Catharines (the "App") is published by Tubman Tours Canada ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App uses and how. We built the App to work without accounts and to collect as little as possible.
Location. With your permission, the App uses your device's precise location to show where you are on the map and to give you walking directions between tour stops. Your location is used on your device while you take the tour. To display the map and calculate walking routes, coordinates are sent to our mapping and routing providers (Apple Maps on iOS, Google Maps on Android, and an OpenStreetMap-based routing service). We do not store your location on our own servers, and the App works the same whether or not you grant location access — you simply won't see live navigation without it.
Purchase information. If you buy the tour, the payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase and to let you restore it on your devices. Through this we receive confirmation that a purchase was made and an anonymous identifier — we never receive your name, card number, or other payment details.
What we do NOT collect. We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or browsing history. The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking. Any notifications are generated on your device.
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the App — the mapping and routing providers listed above and the app stores / RevenueCat for purchases — and only as needed to provide the App's features. We do not sell your information. We may disclose information if required by law.
We do not maintain our own database of your personal information. Purchase records held by the app stores and RevenueCat are retained under their respective policies.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
