My thesis was inspired by my personal experience with loss and the emotions that come with it. The glass-like corset is meant to symbolize the fragility and strength that coexist during mourning.
The spider lily, a flower linked to death and remembrance, is a central motif in the pieces, representing both the beauty and impermanence of life. This collection is my way of processing grief and letting go.
Through each piece, I aim to remember those I’ve lost while navigating the difficult balance between holding on and moving forward.
