Audition information

Audition process: 

Our audition process consists of the traditional audition reading and an initiate period, where prospective members (initiates) may shadow us over a few rehearsals, performances, and guild meetings to get a sense of how they might fit in the troupe. 

FOR ACTORS: Prospective members may contact Prosperoh in order to schedule an audition day, where they can either prepare a short monologue of their choice or read from a monologue provided by Prosperoh

FOR CREW: Prospective members may contact Prosperoh in order to schedule a chat, where a few officers will do a very informal interview with you and your position in the troupe!

Initiates are encouraged to get involved as early as possible but aren’t pressured to get more involved than they are comfortable with. This grace period also serves the initiate to figure out whether the troupe is right for them. After a few weeks, should the initiate like to stay an active member, they then become thespians of the guild and are members of the troupe to be called on for performances! Initiates who don’t feel the time is right, or that the troupe is for them should let us know. We have a very open "welcome-back" policy should you feel inclined to try again. Initiates who make it to the discord and go AFK for a long period without notice may be kicked for organization purposes, but again if you still want to come back and try again we are more than happy to do so!
