TTmagic ("TTmagic," "we," "us," or "our") is an application designed to help users practice and improve their impromptu and public-speaking skills.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect information when you use the TTmagic mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Depending on how you use TTmagic, we may collect the following categories of information.

We use this information to create and manage your account and provide the Service.
TTmagic provides speaking and speech-evaluation features that require access to your device's microphone.
When you use these features, TTmagic may:
Record your speech audio;
Upload the recording to our servers;
Temporarily store the recording;
Process the recording using artificial intelligence;
Generate speech analysis, feedback, scores, highlights, and suggestions based on your speech.
Your speech may contain information that you voluntarily provide while speaking. We recommend that you avoid including sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your speaking exercise.
TTmagic uses third-party artificial intelligence services, including services provided by OpenAI, to process speech and generate analysis and feedback.
Audio recordings and/or transcribed speech may be transmitted to OpenAI or other AI service providers as necessary to provide the speech-evaluation functionality.
The information sent to these providers may include:
Audio recordings;
Speech transcripts;
Prompts or instructions required to perform the evaluation;
Other information necessary to generate the requested analysis.
OpenAI's API platform states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the customer explicitly opts into data sharing. OpenAI may retain API data for limited periods for purposes such as abuse monitoring, subject to applicable retention controls and endpoint-specific policies.

We may automatically collect certain technical information when you use TTmagic, such as:
Device type and model;
Operating system and version;
Application version;
Anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers;
IP address or approximate location derived from IP address;
Usage information and interaction with the application;
Crash and diagnostic information.
This information helps us maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve TTmagic.
We may use analytics services to understand how users interact with TTmagic, including information such as:
Features used;
Screens viewed;
Session information;
General usage patterns;

We may use services such as Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics for these purposes.

TTmagic temporarily retains speech recordings for purposes related to providing the Service, including processing, generating evaluations, maintaining session functionality, troubleshooting, and improving service reliability.
We retain audio only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and according to our operational retention practices.
When audio is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise remove it from active systems, subject to technical limitations, backup systems, legal obligations, and legitimate security requirements.
We recommend that users do not include highly sensitive personal information in speech recordings.
To provide AI-powered speech analysis, TTmagic may transmit relevant information to third-party AI service providers.
Currently, TTmagic uses OpenAI's API for AI processing.
These providers process information on our behalf to provide the requested functionality. Their processing of information is governed by their applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default unless the customer has explicitly opted into data sharing.
TTmagic may use third-party service providers to operate and improve the application. Depending on the features enabled in the application, these providers may include:
Firebase / Google services for authentication, analytics, database, storage, crash reporting, or other application infrastructure;
OpenAI for artificial-intelligence processing;
Apple services for authentication, payments, or platform functionality;
Other infrastructure or service providers necessary to operate TTmagic.
Third-party providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
We may share information with service providers that process information on our behalf.
We may also disclose information:
When required by law;
To respond to lawful requests from authorities;
To protect the rights, property, or safety of TTmagic, our users, or others;

Certain information may remain temporarily in backups before being securely deleted in accordance with our backup-retention procedures.
TTmagic is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use the Service under applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
TTmagic and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures designed to provide adequate protection for personal information transferred internationally.

Speech recordings are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for related operational purposes.

Information required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes may be retained for the period required or permitted by applicable law.
Retention periods may change as our services and legal requirements evolve.
TTmagic may use technologies such as identifiers, SDKs, and similar mechanisms to operate the application, maintain sessions, understand usage, analyze performance, and improve the Service.
Mobile applications may use technologies that perform functions similar to cookies used on websites.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the application or other appropriate means.

TTmagic may request access to your device microphone solely to enable speech-practice and speech-evaluation functionality.
Microphone access can be controlled through your device's privacy settings. If microphone access is denied, certain TTmagic features may not function.
TTmagic does not require access to your microphone when you are not actively using a feature that requires speech recording.
