ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Henry Langlois
Founder & Owner, U-SHARE
U-SHARE was founded by Henry Langlois, a lifelong resident of the Témiscaming and North Bay region, proud father of four, and dedicated mill worker with more than 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry.
The idea for U-SHARE began with a simple text message from Henry's daughter. While shopping at a local grocery store, she sent him a photo of a sale she had found. That moment sparked a question:
"Why isn't there an easy way for people to instantly share real local deals with others nearby?"
Henry realized that every day, people discover great savings in stores, but most of those deals are only seen by a handful of shoppers. Valuable bargains often go unnoticed by friends, families, neighbours, and community members who could benefit from them.
From that simple photo, U-SHARE was born.
U-SHARE is designed to make deal sharing simple. Users can snap a photo of a local deal, share it with the community, and help others save money. Using location services, the app shows nearby deals and helps shoppers find savings close to home.
Built with a focus on local communities, U-SHARE aims to connect people through real-time, real-world savings while supporting local businesses and helping families stretch their budgets.
As a longtime mill worker, father, and entrepreneur, Henry believes great ideas can come from everyday people. U-SHARE is proof that a simple photo, shared at the right moment, can grow into something that helps an entire community.
