Weather by Sall R.
Good morning from T&S Ski Resort, where winter is fully locked in and showing no signs of backing off.
Current Conditions (9:24 AM):
An arctic start to the day with temperatures sitting at 14°F after a significant overnight storm cycle. The mountain picked up 14 inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours, bringing the 48-hour total to an impressive 28 inches. Snowfall has been steady and light this morning, refreshing already deep packed powder across the mountain. Thanks to the recent snow, patrol is assessing select glades for potential openings.
Today’s Forecast:
Light snow continues through the day with a high near 18°F, keeping surfaces soft and chalky. Winds remain light, allowing visibility to stay decent despite falling snow. Another cold night ahead with temperatures dropping into the low teens.
Trail & Lift Outlook:
With 92 trails and 6 lifts open, conditions are mid-season strong. Groomers report smooth packed powder on primary routes, with some granular developing on high-traffic areas. Natural snow coverage continues to improve, setting the stage for additional glade terrain to open soon. Two terrain parks remain open, with park events continuing throughout the week.
Evening Outlook:
Temperatures plunge overnight, with lows nearing -4°F. Clear skies and brutal cold will help preserve snow quality, and limited snowmaking will remain active on key connectors. Friday looks frigid but sunny — classic Vermont winter riding at its finest.
Bundle up, ride smart, and enjoy one of the best stretches of the season so far.
