It is important to apply for housing as soon as possible.
Housing will be in a student dorm for all exchange students. You can apply for the international student housing online prior to your departure. The online application instruction for dorms will be included in the acceptance notice email, which states the dorm application period (you can only apply when the system opens during that given time) and specific steps. Due to the growing demand of on-campus housing, the dorm application is under a first-come-first-served basis. The dorm space is NOT guaranteed. Apply as soon as the system opens as the space fills up very quickly. More information can be found at here.
Tsinghua will not assist in finding housing off campus.
If you have questions regarding housing, it is best to contact your housing provider directly. The Gies business study abroad office has no authority over host university policy and procedure. If it is a situation where you are not getting a response, please let us know.
Prior to arrival to campus, check with your housing provider to inquire about the earliest move in date. If you plan to arrive early and are using university housing, you may be required to pay an extra fee for early move-in or may need to find other accommodations. Make sure to check the time that the housing office will be open for check-in.
Regardless of what housing you choose, be sure to arrange it before arriving on campus.
