I am an assistant professor at the Institute of Social and Economic Research at Osaka University. I was an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Economics and Faculty of Economics at Kyoto University. I was JSPS* research fellow DC 1 and PD (postdoctoral fellow) at the Graduate School of Economics at Kyoto University.

My research studies behavioral and experimental economics

(1) Games: Indefinitely repeated games

Firstly, I study how intelligence influences participants to realize the equilibrium, including subgame perfect equilibrium and risk dominance, in infinitely repeated public goods games. Secondly, I study how information structure and community size influence cooperation in infinitely repeated prisoner's dilemma experiments under random matching. Thirdly, I study how multi-market contact influences cooperation in infinitely repeated prisoner's dilemma experiments under imperfect monitoring.

(2) Games: Strategy-proofness in Vickrey Auction

I investigate why subjects deviate from insincere bidding in Vickrey auction experiments by focusing on two factors: subjects' understanding of strategy-proofness and human interaction. By solving our designed quizzes, subjects experience an ``Aha!" moment, leading them to realize that the Vickrey auction is strategy-proofness.

(3) IO: Deterring Collusion

I study the impact of fine systems to deter collusion in auction experiments. Also, I study the impact of min price on collusion level in infinitely repeated procurement auctions.

(4) Behavioral Finance: Reliance on AI

I experimentally study the factors that influence participants' reliance on AI in stock price forecasting experiments, including the performance of AI, the opportunity to experience AI, and the opportunity to realize their performance level by comparing AI. Besides, I study how information sources (i.e. sources from students, experts and AI)  affect participants' willingness to pay for advice in stock price forecasting experiments.

I'm an organizer of the Virtual East Asia Experimental and Behavioral Economics Seminar Series.

My motto is : " Never Give Up".
