The Demo is an MS Access 2010 compiled file in mde format, which you can open with MS Access 2010 or later, or with free database viewer -MS Access Runtime upgreated to Service Pack 2.
Demo version has following limitation:
- no new Subject can be created (still, you can create new Schedule).
What do you need to know in advance.
"MS Access", as member of relational database family, is very different from other "MS Office" products, and you need to know the basic concept and operations with data tables.
In general, in database you store all data in tables that are looking similar to well known "MS Excel" tables. Each cell of the "MS Excel" table has its own unique address, defined by columns and rows - it can be called as a two-coordinate system. This unique address can be easily used in any formula. "MS Access" table has one coordinate system – cell position is defined by columns only. The position of the row depends on sorting type and cannot be predefined. To get required row or set of rows, you need to make selection by some parameters of one or more columns presented in the table and then to filter all rest rows, which do not mach to selected parameters. Thus, SELECTION is the main action applicable in relational database tables to get required records.

All mandatory fields have “*” symbol.
All forms are open in Datasheet view by default. To change it to Form view, you need double click following fields:
“File As” field of CONTACTS, EQUIPMENT and SPECIFICATIONS tables;
"Subject" field of SUBJECTS table;
"Specification" field of STATISTICS table.
It is possible to add/edit data in both – Datasheet and Form views.
Most useful keyboard shortcuts:
[Ctrl]+[+] – create new record
[Ctrl]+[;] – enter current (system) date.
[Ctrl]+[‘] – in datasheet view copy values from upper row of the same column.
[Ctrl]+[k] – insert link, email or web address to field of “hyperlink” type.
