Introduction

Teshirogi Soccer Club (TSC) is a non-profit sports club organization and established in 1981 to promote youth soccer in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Our club aims to provide the opportunity to play soccer at every level of youth soccer to all kid’s players. Players can join from the age of 5 and play soccer till U12(6th-grade). Our club players come from Koki Gakuen (Teshirogi Minami, Matsushiro, Katsuragi elementary schools) and the neighboring schools (Kasuga, Yagihashi, and other elementary schools).

Our coaches are students at Tsukuba University Football Club and Tsukuba University Women's Soccer Club. All coaches are active players in their team, so their coaching maximizes the children's potential to develop both an appreciation of the game and their own individual skills to the best of their ability.

TSC is member of Tsukuba City Football Association and Ibaraki Football Association (IFA). TSC teams (each category from U-7 to U-12) participate in regional leagues and tournaments to be organized by Tsukuba City and IFA.

Practice

Practice is held every Saturday in the schoolyard of Teshirogi Minami Elementary School.  It's canceled on rainy days.

For the 4th to 6th grades (U10–U12), we also have practice after school every Wednesday (Matsushiro) and Friday (Teshirogi Minami) from March to September.
