I cannot find an actual driver online for the TSC DA210. Their site pushes you towards this TSC_2022.1.4.0 , however that is just an application that wants you to run it before you plug it in. I did so, and nothing happened. USB Printing Support tried to install itself again, I stopped it, the program just kept searching for the printer but no luck..

Request you kindly to please help me in installing TSC TA210 Barcode Printer in LINUX environment. I have installed Linuxfx in my system. I tried downloading windows .exe from the TSC website and tried to run it using WINE, but of no use. Even though TSC has provided the drivers in LINUX, I am not able to install it in my LINUXFX. Please help!

I have found if you put the driver on the computer that the printer is not connected to ie:printer is connected to windows 64 bit machine and the computer you want to share it with is Vista 32 bit, you will need to add the 32 bit driver to the "additional drivers" box then connect to the printer on the vista machine that fixed the same error I read here

I have a new Acer workstation and I can't seem to install any USB printer on this workstation. I've tried a known-good HP printer (a laserjet 1020) that would not install that had been connected to an XP box before I replaced this workstation. I downloaded HP's win 7 64 bit drivers and it failed to install. I then purchased a new HP Laserjet Pro P1102w, thinking that the old printer may just not work on win 7. Unfortunately, I can't get this printer to install, either. All of the HP drivers I downloaded from HP's site fail with the error "Printer installation failed. A new printer was not installed." after I run the HP setup routine. If I use "add printer" in windows the driver installs without error, but a test print puts a print in the Q but it sticks there and does not print.

we have about a dozen hp 1022 printers that we have a win7 64bit driver for and they mostly work BTW IMO these older HP printers are notorious for having printing issues with win7 64. Try looking for the 1022 driver, that should work.

Next thing to check is if the 64-bit Windows 7 version, only in Ultimate will most HP drivers not load properly, we haven't figured out why and HP has been slow to respond. Only times I can get an HP printer to load in Ultimate is using the Windows Update option.
