Trézor® Suite is the official companion application developed by SatoshiLabs for managing Trézor® hardware wallets. Unlike browser-based interfaces, it is a dedicated desktop and web application designed to provide a secure, intuitive environment for buying, selling, swapping, staking, and sending cryptocurrencies. The software acts as the bridge between your physical Trézor® device—such as the Trézor® Safe 3 or Trézor® Model T—and the blockchain networks that power your digital assets.
Trézor® Suite consolidates portfolio tracking, transaction history, and exchange integration into a single dashboard. Users can monitor balances across multiple accounts and blockchains without switching between different platforms.
The application includes built-in privacy tools. The Tor network integration allows users to route their connection through encrypted relays, shielding their IP address and transaction metadata from prying eyes.
Advanced users benefit from coin control features that let them select specific UTXOs (Unspent Transaction Outputs) when sending Bitcoin. The labeling function helps organize transactions and addresses for better accounting and tax reporting.
Trézor® Suite enables users to stake selected proof-of-stake assets directly within the app. The swap feature compares rates across integrated providers, allowing users to exchange coins without moving funds to external exchanges.

Before installing, verify the cryptographic checksum of the downloaded file. The official download page provides SHA-256 hashes for every release. Comparing your file’s hash against the published value ensures the installer has not been tampered with.
Run the installer and follow the on-screen wizard. The process typically completes within minutes. On Linux, make the AppImage executable before launching it.
Plug your Trézor® hardware wallet into your computer using the provided USB-C cable. Trézor® Suite will automatically detect the device.
If your device is new, Trézor® Suite will prompt you to install the latest firmware. If you already own a device, it will check for updates and recommend installing them for maximum security.
New Wallet: Select "Create new wallet." Your Trézor® device will generate a 12- or 24-word recovery seed displayed only on the device screen. Write this down on the provided recovery card in the exact order shown.
Restore Wallet: Select "Restore wallet" and enter your existing recovery seed to recover a previous wallet.
Create a PIN code between 4 and 9 digits. The Trézor® interface uses a randomized number grid for PIN entry, preventing keyloggers from capturing your input.
Assign a custom name to your wallet for easy identification, especially useful if you manage multiple devices or portfolios.
Never store your recovery seed digitally. Photographing or typing it into any device exposes it to malware.
Enable passphrase protection. This optional feature creates hidden wallets accessible only with a memorized passphrase, adding a layer of plausible deniability.
Always verify addresses on your device. Before confirming any transaction, check that the recipient address on your Trézor® screen matches the one on your computer.
Use Tor in Trézor® Suite. Activate this feature in the settings to enhance transaction privacy.
