This Privacy Policy explains how TryToo ("we," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
When you use the App to preview how a tattoo will look on your skin, we collect:
Photos you take or upload of your body part (e.g., hand, arm) using your device camera or photo library
The resulting composite/overlay images generated by the App
Links or video frames you share into the App (e.g., from TikTok or Instagram) for tattoo detection and analysis
Tattoo images or designs you upload or select within the App
Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
Usage data (features used, crash logs, general interaction data)
If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and any profile information you provide.
We use the information we collect to:
Generate AR previews and composite images showing tattoos on your skin
Process images through third-party AI services (see Section 3) to power the tattoo overlay and detection features
Improve and maintain the App's functionality
Communicate with you about updates, support, or App-related notices
Analyze usage trends to improve the App experience
To generate tattoo overlays and analyze shared content, the App sends images and/or video frames to third-party AI providers (including Google's Gemini API) for processing. These providers process the data solely to return the generated result to the App and are bound by their own privacy and data-handling terms.
We do not sell your photos or personal images to third parties for advertising purposes.
Photos and generated images may be temporarily stored on our servers to deliver the App's core features (e.g., showing you results from multiple angles).
You can request deletion of your stored images and data at any time (see Section 8).
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or as you direct.
We do not share your body images or personal photos with other users or third parties, except:
With service providers (such as AI processing partners) strictly to deliver App functionality
If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the App, its users, or the public
With your explicit consent (e.g., if you choose to share a generated result on social media)
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for image processing at any time
Object to or restrict certain processing

The App requests access to your device camera and/or photo library solely to let you capture or upload images for tattoo preview purposes. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit App functionality.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
