SRS Audio Sandbox is a tool which will enable users to better control the audio output associated with a personal computer. Although ideal for basic projects, it will often be deployed for entertainment-specific purposes such as when installing a surround sound system within a home. A free trial period is available before the product will need to be purchased.

we can see the same issue but not with published application chrome, we have this issue with published desktop and chrome used inside the published desktop. for me it's not a workaround because it is hard to implement this for every use-cases. Of course I can edit the shortcut from chrome on desktop and for start menu but what if users open chrome through a link send my email or so, the parameter will not work. I do think it could also be related to the citrix audio channel and the sandbox together.

For what it's worth, I've been looking at an audio issue today and noticed I had 6 different instances of com.apple.audio.SandboxHelper running. Checking showed that the system thinks it has 6 different audio devices attached, so it seems each audio device get a SandboxHelper to look after it.

Oddly, no other piece of hardware, or associated drivers, has a SandboxHelper associated with it, so either the audio devices are the only ones that need help operating in a Sandbox, or only the audio driver team used that name and other tasks running in Sandboxes have their helpers called something else.

 Any software installed in Windows Sandbox stays only in the sandbox and cannot affect your host. Once Windows Sandbox is closed, all the software with all its files and state are permanently deleted.

If you enable or do not configure the Audio Input policy option for Windows Sandbox, it will be able to receive audio input from the user. It can be useful when running an app that uses a microphone inside the Sandbox. However, there may be security implications of exposing your host audio input to the Sandbox. When the policy is disabled, Windows Sandbox will not be able to receive audio input from the user.

The problem is a overlay driver that cannot broadcast from inside the sandbox. Been looking for a solution for a while now I decided to just do a virtual pc for these types of issues requiring the need to do so.

thanks for information regarding this issue, as for solution use Zoom webclient instead, running relatively safe inside chrome sandbox, for extra precaution you may run chrome browser inside sandboxie and forget not to disable chrome audio sandbox thru registry

To me, it looks like that AnyConnect VPN is dropping RTP packets, so there is no audio for all cases in the VPN PC. I've tried to use the same PC and softphone with other SIP server when VPN was disconnected, they are all good. So there is no problem with my PC firewall or softphone.

I have been advised the sandbox engineers will fix this issue in all applicable sandboxes during their next maintenance window.
