We do not require you to create an account or provide your name/email to use the basic features of the application.

**We collect and process the following data only to provide functionality:**

* **Search Queries & Product URLs:** When you paste a URL or type a product name, we send this text to our analysis engine (OpenAI API) to generate a "Trust Score."

* **Images:** If you use the "Scan by Screenshot" or "Camera" feature, the image is temporarily processed to extract product text. We do not store your personal photos.

* **Usage Data:** We may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., app crashes, performance metrics) to improve stability.

**3. How We Use Your Information**

* To analyze product reviews and detect potential scams.

* To provide you with a "Trust Score" and "Reality Gap" analysis.

* To improve the accuracy of our AI models.

**4. Third-Party Services**

We use trusted third-party services to provide our core features:

* **OpenAI API:** Used for text and image analysis. Data sent to OpenAI is subject to their data policy and is not used to train their models.

* **Expo & Google Play/App Store Services:** Used for app hosting and updates.

**5. Data Retention**

We do not store your personal search history on our servers permanently. Any history saved on your mobile device is stored locally using `AsyncStorage` and stays on your device unless you clear it.

**6. Children's Privacy**

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
