PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: August 03, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Nikita Infotech ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the mobile application Trusted Caller ID & Call Block ("the App").

This Policy applies to all users of the App and is intended to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data policy and the SMS and Call Log Permissions policy, as well as applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where the App is made available, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) for residents of California.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use the App.

This Policy should be read together with the App's permission disclosures presented at the time of installation and first use, which provide additional, feature-specific detail about the data each permission enables us to access.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the information necessary to provide the core functionality of the App - real-time caller identification and spam/nuisance call blocking. Wherever technically feasible, this information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

A. Call and Phone State Information

Permissions: READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_PHONE_NUMBERS, PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS

We access your device's call state (idle, ringing, or in-progress), your device's phone number, and the number dialed on outgoing calls. This information enables the App to detect incoming and outgoing calls and display caller identification in real time. This data is processed entirely on your device.

B. Call Log Information

Permissions: READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG

We access your device's call log to display recent, missed, and identified calls within the App, and to record blocking actions you take. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

C. Contacts

Permissions: READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS

We access your device's contact list to match incoming and outgoing numbers to saved names and to improve the accuracy of caller identification. WRITE_CONTACTS is used only when you affirmatively choose to save an identified number as a new contact. Your contact list is processed locally and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

D. Spam and Nuisance Number Data

Numbers associated with incoming or outgoing calls are checked against an on-device spam and nuisance number database maintained within the App. This process occurs entirely on your device; call activity and phone numbers are not transmitted to any server for this purpose.

E. Call Handling and Display Permissions

Permissions: SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, DISABLE_KEYGUARD, CALL_PHONE

These permissions enable the App to display caller identification and spam-warning alerts over other applications, including over the lock screen, and to support call-handling functionality associated with the App's designation as a default call-handling application, where applicable. These functions are performed locally on your device.

F. Notifications

Permission: POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Used to deliver caller ID alerts, missed-call notifications, and spam warnings to your device.

G. Device, Network, and Advertising Information

Permissions: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE

We collect limited technical information, including device model, operating system version, network connection type, anonymized diagnostic and crash data, and advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID). This information is used to maintain App stability, deliver software updates, and support the advertising functionality described in the "How We Share Your Information" section of this Policy.

H. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require account registration and does not collect your name, email address, physical address, or financial information. The App does not access SMS messages, camera, microphone, or location data, as these permissions are not requested by the App.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the information described in this Policy solely for the following purposes, consistent with the App's stated functionality and the requirements of the Google Play Developer Program Policies:

A. Providing Core App Functionality

We use call state, phone number, call log, and contact information to identify incoming and outgoing calls, display caller information in real time, maintain your call history within the App, and enable manual and automatic blocking of spam or nuisance numbers. This processing occurs locally on your device.

B. Spam and Nuisance Call Detection

We use the on-device spam and nuisance number database to compare incoming and outgoing call numbers and alert you to potentially unwanted calls. This function does not involve transmission of your call data to our servers.

C. Displaying Caller ID and Alerts

We use overlay and notification permissions to present caller identification, spam warnings, and missed-call alerts to you in real time, including when the App is not in active use.

D. App Performance, Stability, and Security

We use limited device and diagnostic information to identify and resolve technical issues, monitor app stability, detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the App, and maintain the security of our services.

E. Advertising

We use advertising identifiers and non-personally-identifying device information to deliver and measure advertisements within the free version of the App, through the third-party advertising partners identified in the "How We Share Your Information" section of this Policy.

F. Legal Compliance

We may use and disclose information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or lawful requests by public authorities.

G. Purposes for Which We Do Not Use Your Data

We do not use your contacts, call log, or phone number data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the App's core caller identification and call-blocking functionality. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to build behavioral profiles for third parties.

DATA SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We disclose limited information only as described in this section, and only to the extent necessary to operate, maintain, and monetize the free version of the App.

A. Service Providers

We share limited, non-personally-identifying device and diagnostic information with the following third-party service providers, solely for the purposes of app performance monitoring and advertising:

These providers may independently collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and non-personally-identifying usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies, for the purpose of delivering and measuring advertisements. We do not provide your contacts, call log, or phone number data to any of these providers. Data obtained through the App's restricted call- and contact-related permissions is processed exclusively on your device and is never shared with advertising or analytics partners.

B. Legal and Regulatory Disclosure

We may disclose information where required to do so by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.

C. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to a successor entity, subject to the terms of this Policy or a materially equivalent privacy policy.

D. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or other applicable data protection laws.

E. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third party, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

A. Rights Available to All Users

Regardless of your location, you have the following rights and controls with respect to the App:

B. Rights for Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR:

Given the App's on-device processing architecture, the majority of data subject to these rights resides on your device and is directly accessible and deletable by you at any time, without the need to submit a formal request to us.

C. Rights for California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA):

D. Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described in this section, or if you have questions about how your information is handled, please contact us at: playgrowth.experts@gmail.com

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information described in this Policy from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

A. On-Device Processing

Where technically feasible, sensitive data including contacts, call log, and phone number information is processed and stored locally on your device rather than transmitted to or stored on our servers. This minimizes the risk associated with data transmission and reduces our exposure to server-side security incidents affecting this category of data.

B. Secure Data Transmission

Any data that is transmitted to our servers or to third-party service providers, including diagnostic and advertising-related data, is transmitted using industry-standard encryption protocols (such as HTTPS/TLS).

C. Access Controls

Access to any data we do process is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require it to perform their functions, and is governed by contractual and technical safeguards consistent with industry practice.

D. Limitations

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including using device-level protections such as screen locks and keeping your operating system up to date.

E. Security Incident Response

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

DATA RETENTION

A. On-Device Data

The App does not require account registration and does not maintain server-side user accounts. Sensitive data processed for the App's core functionality including contacts, call log entries, and phone number information resides exclusively on your device for as long as the App remains installed. We do not retain copies of this data on our servers.

You may delete this data at any time by clearing the App's storage/data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App, which permanently removes all locally stored information associated with the App.

B. Diagnostic and Advertising Data

Limited diagnostic data (such as crash reports and performance metrics) and advertising-identifier data collected through our third-party service providers, as described in the "Data Sharing and Third-Party Services" section of this Policy, is retained by those providers in accordance with their own respective data retention policies and periods.

C. Retention Following Uninstallation

Once the App is uninstalled, we retain no locally processed personal data, as none was stored on our servers to begin with. Any diagnostic or advertising-identifier data already transmitted to service providers prior to uninstallation is retained and deleted according to those providers' independent retention schedules, which we do not control.

D. Legal Retention Requirements

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may retain limited information for longer periods where required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

A. Age Restriction

The App is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable local law, if higher, such as 16 in certain jurisdictions within the European Economic Area). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement, or that you are using the App under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by your jurisdiction's laws.

B. No Knowing Collection from Children

We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the applicable minimum age described above. The App's core functionality caller identification and call/spam blocking is designed for general audience use and does not include features specifically directed at children.

C. Parental Rights and Removal Requests

If a parent or legal guardian becomes aware that a child under the applicable minimum age has provided personal information through the App without appropriate consent, they may contact us at the email address below to request that such information be reviewed and deleted. Because the App processes sensitive data (contacts, call log, phone number) locally on the device rather than on our servers, a parent or guardian may also address this directly by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through device settings.

D. Compliance Framework

This section is intended to support compliance with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent protections under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom.

MANAGING AND ACCESSING YOUR INFORMATION

This section describes the practical controls available to you for managing, accessing, and reviewing the information the App processes, in addition to the legal rights described in the "Your Rights and Choices" section of this Policy.

A. In-App Data Access

You may directly view and manage the following information at any time within the App:

No separate request to us is required to access this information, as it is displayed directly within the App interface.

B. Managing Permissions

You may review, grant, or revoke any App permission at any time through your device settings (Settings > Apps > Trusted Caller ID & Call Block > Permissions). Revoking a permission takes effect immediately; however, disabling permissions such as Call Log, Contacts, or Phone State access may disable or limit core App functionality, including real-time caller identification and automatic call blocking.

C. Managing Default Call-Handling Status

If you have set the App as your default calling or call-screening application, you may change or remove this designation at any time through Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Phone App, or the equivalent setting on your device. Removing this designation will disable call-screening and caller ID features that depend on default-handler status.

D. Managing Advertising Preferences

You may reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized advertising through your device's system-level advertising settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or equivalent, depending on your Android version).

E. Correcting Inaccurate Information

Because caller identification data is drawn from your own device's contacts and the on-device spam database, you may correct inaccurate entries directly by editing your device's contact list or by submitting feedback on a misidentified number through the App's in-app reporting feature, where available.

F. Deleting Your Information

You may delete all information associated with the App at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App entirely through your device settings. As described in the "Data Retention" section of this Policy, because this data is processed on-device, deletion is immediate and complete on your end.

G. Requests to Us Directly

For matters that cannot be resolved through in-app or device-level controls including questions about our third-party service providers or formal requests under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA - you may contact us at: playgrowth.experts@gmail.com

UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

A. Right to Modify

We may revise and update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, the App's functionality, applicable law, or Google Play Developer Program Policy requirements. Any such changes will be effective upon posting the revised Policy within the App or on the App's designated Privacy Policy page.

B. Notice of Material Changes

Where changes are material including any change that expands the categories of information we collect, alters the purposes for which information is used, or introduces new third-party data sharing we will provide notice through one or more of the following methods: an in-app notification, an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy, or, where required by applicable law, a more prominent form of notice or renewed consent.

C. Your Continued Use

Your continued use of the App following the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with a revised Policy, you should discontinue use of the App and may uninstall it at any time.

D. Review Recommendation

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed of how we collect, use, and protect your information.
