The core activity of the center is to welcome and take care of people suffering from psychic difficulties, offering treatments as day or night care. Specialised psychiatric wards provide specific and adapted care.
Through specific activities, the transdisciplinary teams are supporting a wide range of users of mental health services, including youth users: mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance addictions, chronic psychosis, bipolar diagnosis, post-traumatic disorder, etc.
Open-minded about society, it integrates its actions as a part of the Mental Health Care Reform and actively works to break down the barriers of psychiatry by making it more accessible. One main goal is to allow users and professionals to blossom in a respectful environment.
Established in 1818, is now among the 50 best universities in Ukraine and the most high-ranking university in the Poltava region.
Most educational services are digitised and constantly adapted to suit students’ professional competencies to work with the most advanced technologies.
The university is also engaged in community work and social projects. It has become the centre for the Poltava branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and helped the National Centre of the Academy be included under UNESCO’s aegis.
EPIONI, the Greek Carers Network, is a national nonprofit organization that supports informal caregivers in Greece.
It is officially recognized by the Hellenic State, under four different registries, including a Special Certification of Primary Social Care. EPIONI is also certified under ISO 9001:2015 for providing support services to caregivers in Greece and for the planning, management, and implementation of related National and European projects.
EPIONI's work focuses on organizing scientific and informational events on health topics relevant to caregivers, exchanging best practices, developing educational platforms for patients and caregivers, launching campaigns to raise awareness about the essential role of informal caregivers in Greece’s health and welfare systems, and advocating for caregiver-supportive policies with local Greek authorities and at the EU level.
EPIONI’s importance within Greek civil society is reflected in its continuous and productive collaboration with European organizations, by its active membership in Mental Health Europe, EUFAMI (European Federation of Associations of Families of People with Mental Illness), and Eurocarers.
The EuroPlural Project is an NGO that promotes inclusive and affirmative initiatives within the social economy in health, education, and art, focusing on minority populations with a scope that extends to Europe and the global landscape.
The organisation undertakes activities centred around promoting mental health and education. It advocates for the non-discrimination, affirmation, and societal integration of minority populations based on sex, gender, and relationships.
The association is made up of around 30 volunteers active in the segments of victims of physical and psychological abuse, LGBT, Ukrainian refugees and refugees from other continents, emigrants, and people with mental or physical disabilities.
The Lekama Foundation is a Luxembourg-based NGO created in 2020. Its action falls within the framework of social ecology, which recognizes that social and environmental factors can promote or hinder the equitable and inclusive participation of all in society.
With its partners, it works on an approach to INCLUSION of socially vulnerable populations, particularly in Europe, Africa and Luxembourg.
It operates internationally in collaboration with hospitals, training centres, universities, NGOs, etc. It provides the skills of health, social and public health professionals (sociologists, anthropologists, doctors, educators, etc.).
The FDL is a non-profit organization of social utility instituted in 1999 and recognized in 2000 as a Moral Entity by the Ministry of the Interior with headquarters in Rome, Italy. The Foundation carries out activities of social cooperation aimed at fostering respect for the dignity of the human person.
The Foundation has developed and promoted projects in Italy and abroad to intervene in some of the most prevalent social and economic emergencies as: mental disorders and youth malaise, loss of employment in adult life, social and cultural integration of migrants, peace and reconciliation initiatives.
Since 2006 FDL has concentrate its efforts mainly in the field of mental health for people with mental health problems and their families.
