This Privacy Policy explains how Trunkey ("the App "), operated by Botart Yazılım ve ARGE AS, collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our young users and providing a safe, imaginative environment.
Trunkey generates personalized stories. To do this, we collect information that you or your child provide during the story-creation process.
User-Provided Content:
Story Prompts & Preferences: We collect the text or voice inputs you provide (e.g., child's name, age, favorite colors, animals, or activities) to create a personalized story.
Voice Data: When using the microphone to tell Trunkey about yourself, the audio is processed to convert speech to text. We do not store the raw audio files permanently; they are processed temporarily to generate the story.
Generated Stories: The stories created by the AI are stored locally on your device or temporarily on our servers so you can read and share them.
Automatically Collected Data (via Third-Party SDKs): Through SDKs (Firebase, Adjust, Meta), we collect anonymized data to understand how the App is used.
Usage Data: Which features are used, session duration, and how many stories are generated.
Device Data: Device model, operating system, and unique identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.
Transaction Data (via RevenueCat): If a parent purchases a subscription, transaction details are managed securely by RevenueCat and the App Store/Play Store. We do not see your full payment card details.
Personalized Storytelling: We use your inputs (names, likes, activities) to make Trunkey’s stories unique to your child.
AI Processing: Inputs are shared with third-party AI services (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI) to write the stories.
App Improvement: Anonymized analytics help us fix bugs and make Trunkey a better storyteller.
Safety & Moderation: We use automated filters to ensure that prompts and stories remain child-friendly and safe.
Third-Party AI Services: To write the stories, Trunkey shares your story prompts with AI providers. These providers are prohibited from using this data for their own purposes (like training their models or marketing).
Analytics Providers: We use Firebase, Adjust, and Meta SDKs for technical performance and marketing attribution.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law to protect the safety of our users.
Temporary Processing: Story inputs (like what you said to the microphone) are processed to create the story and are not permanently stored as raw data once the story is delivered, unless required for safety moderation.
Security: We use encryption and secure storage to protect your data. However, no internet-based service is 100% secure.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell your or your child’s personal information to third parties.
Trunkey is designed for children. We take extra steps to protect our younger users:
COPPA/GDPR Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers (like full names, email addresses, or physical addresses) from children without parental awareness.
Input Guidance: We encourage parents to supervise their children while using the microphone feature to ensure they do not share sensitive personal information.
Parental Rights: Parents can contact us at any time to request the deletion of any data provided by their child.
Content Control: You can choose what information to share with Trunkey. If you don't share a "favorite fruit," Trunkey will simply use a different magical detail!
Deletion: You can delete the stories saved on your device at any time.
Permissions: You can revoke microphone access through your device settings.
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (e.g., where AI servers are located). By using the App, you consent to this transfer for the purpose of generating your stories.
We may update Trunkey’s Privacy Policy as we add new features. We will notify you of any material changes within the App.
