Welcome to my website.
I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Economics at Loughborough University and a Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Australian National University.
My research interests are mainly in the areas of economic growth and development, political economy, and applied econometrics.
My current work focuses on the fundamental drivers of comparative development, with particular emphasis on how deep-rooted institutional, cultural, and human factors shape long-term economic outcomes.
